Nama Power and Water Procurement and O-Green have signed a Power Purchase Agreement for a 2.7 GW hybrid project in Mahout and Duqm. The development integrates solar and wind power with battery energy storage systems to provide stable, dispatchable electricity around the clock. This initiative aims to deliver 770 MW of reliable capacity to support Oman Vision 2040. The project is designed to attract energy intensive industries, such as data centers and green fuel production, by reducing the intermittency typically associated with renewable energy.
