Oman is partnering with the Chatham House Environment and Society initiative to create a national circular economy roadmap. This strategy aims to reduce waste and increase resource productivity as part of the Oman Vision 2040 goals for a green economic transition. The plan focuses on low carbon industrial growth and sustainable manufacturing. Oman is already integrating these goals through green hydrogen projects, waste to energy systems, and carbon capture technologies to diversify its economy away from finite natural resources.
