The Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre has deployed a 4.6 MWp rooftop solar array covering 16,000 square metres. The system generates approximately 7,000 MWh annually, meeting nearly 25 percent of the venue's total electricity needs and reducing carbon emissions by 3,000 tonnes per year. Beyond electricity, the centre installed 250 solar thermal panels to cover 90 percent of its hot water requirements. These upgrades are part of a broader strategy to align with Oman Vision 2040 through energy diversification and improved building efficiency.
