First Toyota EV in the Northeast. 61 kWh LFP battery with 543 km range is decent for a compact SUV. The 45 minute DC fast charge time is competitive. Charging infrastructure buildout in Nagaland will be the real test though.

543 km range on the WLTP cycle or something else? Real world range in Nagaland's terrain will probably be lower. The 7.2 kW home charger taking 7.5 hours is fine for overnight. But public DC fast chargers are sparse in that region.

The carbon angle here depends on how clean the grid is in Nagaland. If the electricity comes from coal, the net emissions reduction per km is smaller. Still, any EV on the road beats an ICE for local air quality.
