Odisha Launches Green Hydrogen Bus Pilot in Bhubaneswar
orissapost.comOdisha is deploying three hydrogen fuel cell electric buses as part of a new clean mobility initiative. The project includes a dedicated green hydrogen production and refueling facility at the Pokhariput depot, aiming to produce 260 kilograms of hydrogen daily. Backed by the National Green Hydrogen Mission, the project costs 53.55 crore rupees and targets a reduction of 900 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions annually. The pilot will focus on corridors connecting Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Khurda, Puri, and Konark.
