Odisha Launches Green Hydrogen Bus Pilot for Urban Mobility
newindianexpress.comThe Odisha government is developing a green hydrogen ecosystem for public transport in Bhubaneswar. The project includes a production and refueling facility at the Pokhariput depot and the deployment of three hydrogen fuel cell electric buses. Supported by the National Green Hydrogen Mission, the initiative aims to produce 260 kg of green hydrogen daily. The pilot focuses on the Bhubaneswar-Cuttack-Khordha-Puri-Konark corridor to reduce annual carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 900 tonnes.
