Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi visited Emirates Global Aluminium's Jebel Ali site in Dubai to discuss the NALCO-EGA technology licensing partnership. The talks focused on modernising NALCO's operations in Odisha, expanding capacity, and moving toward lower-carbon and higher-value aluminium production. Officials also explored EGA involvement in the Angul Aluminium Park, a planned downstream hub for value-added aluminium products. The state is positioning global technology partnerships as a way to build a broader aluminium ecosystem and create opportunities for local entrepreneurs and industries.
