OCP Nutricrops and Brazil Sign Fertilizer Supply MoU for 3.8 Million Tonnes Through 2027
moroccoworldnews.comMorocco's OCP Nutricrops and Brazil's Ministry of Agriculture signed a memorandum of understanding on September 18, covering delivery of 3.8 million tonnes of fertilizer to Brazil over 2026 to 2027. The deal includes a framework for cooperation on plant nutrition, soil health, and lower-carbon production models. The agreement focuses on triple superphosphate (TSP) and custom solutions for Brazilian soils. Both sides cite supply chain resilience, especially given tensions in the Strait of Hormuz. OCP has operated in Brazil since 2010, giving it local agronomic knowledge. The partnership also covers research, training, and digital tools for farming efficiency.
