Morocco's OCP Group has obtained a €450 million partial credit guarantee from the African Development Bank to support its 2023 to 2030 investment program. This guarantee helps unlock a larger €530 million green financing facility aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions in fertilizer production. The funding focuses on transitioning to a circular industrial model, improving water efficiency, and integrating renewable energy into industrial processes. These investments aim to lower the carbon footprint of agricultural inputs while strengthening food security across Africa.
