Ocean Visions has launched a free, open access Marine Carbon Dioxide Removal Knowledge Platform that tracks the growing mCDR field. It combines the organization's previous field trial and ecosystem databases into one searchable resource. The platform includes an interactive map of past and present trials, downloadable charts, and a directory of nearly 300 actors. It is aimed at researchers, funders, policymakers, and journalists who need a clearer picture of who is working on ocean-based CO2 removal and where projects are happening. Users can submit feedback or suggested edits through the platform. Ocean Visions plans to update the resource as the field develops.
