True. LNG is a bridge fuel at best. The real question is how fast they can scale ammonia or synthetic fuels. NYK says 2050 net zero but that is a long way off with current tech.

Worth noting that methane slip from LNG engines can offset some of the CO2 gains. I would want to see actual in service emissions data not just design specs. Also 7,000 cars is a lot of battery weight if EV exports ramp up.
