The National University of Singapore's Centre for Hydrogen and Carbon Innovations has launched the Hydrogen and Low-Carbon Consortium (HyLoCC) to bridge the gap between academic research and commercial deployment of decarbonisation solutions. Founding members include DBS Bank, Keppel Infrastructure, Surbana Jurong, and YTL PowerSeraya. HyLoCC will organize seminars, facilitate collaborative research, provide access to testing equipment, and develop talent through training courses. The consortium aims to accelerate the translation of hydrogen production, carbon capture, and carbon transformation technologies into real-world applications. This initiative supports Singapore's transition to a low-carbon future by connecting researchers with industry stakeholders across the entire value chain. The focus on hydrogen as a clean fuel alternative and carbon innovations aligns with global efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
