NSW Starts Construction on First End-to-End Green Hydrogen Hub
nationaltribune.com.auConstruction has begun on the Good Earth Green Hydrogen and Ammonia (GEGHA) project near Moree, New South Wales. The facility will produce 4,500 tonnes of low-carbon ammonia and 200 tonnes of green hydrogen annually to support local farming and heavy machinery. Backed by $45.2 million in government funding, the project aims to reduce reliance on imported fossil fuel-based fertilizers and diesel. The hub is designed to be a scalable model for regional decarbonization, with operations expected to start in 2027.
