The NSW Government has launched a $225 million grant round to boost low-carbon manufacturing. The funding targets commercial projects producing clean energy components, such as wind towers, solar panels, and batteries, as well as low-emissions materials like biofuels and blended cement. Located in the Hunter region, the initiative requires applicants to match government contributions dollar-for-dollar to attract private investment. The program supports the state's goal of reducing emissions by 70 percent by 2035 and reaching net zero by 2050.
