NoviqTech is utilizing its subsidiary, Coralia, to produce biochar carbon removal credits and physical biochar from invasive biomass in North Queensland. The project aims to generate 550,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide removal credits under the Puro.earth standard, targeting the high demand for permanent removals from AI-driven data center operators. Beyond credits, the strategy focuses on integrating biochar into concrete and construction to lower the carbon footprint of industrial infrastructure. The company has established a memorandum of understanding with Pure DC for potential credit offtake and is partnering with Swinburne University to validate biochar use in low-carbon concrete.
