NOTAPE Tapeless Zippers Reduce Manufacturing Carbon Footprint
pressreleasehub.pa.mediaNOTAPE has introduced a tapeless zipper design that removes the need for traditional fabric tape, spinning, and dyeing. This structural change reduces resource consumption by up to 95% and lowers the carbon footprint of zipper production by approximately 19.4% to 26.6%. By eliminating the tape, the manufacturing process removes energy intensive dyeing and coating stages. This design also simplifies garment recycling, as the zipper teeth are integrated directly into the fabric, reducing the need for complex disassembly before processing.
