Norway and India have established a Green Strategic Partnership to accelerate the deployment of clean energy technologies. The collaboration focuses on three primary pillars: carbon capture, renewable energy storage, and clean energy infrastructure. This agreement coincides with a broader free trade pact between India and EFTA nations. Norway aims to facilitate up to $100 billion in investments into the Indian economy. The partnership seeks to align technical standards and reduce bureaucratic hurdles to speed up the delivery of low carbon industrial solutions and energy storage projects.
