Noctua and Carbice have partnered to release the NT CP1 AM5 4, a thermal pad using carbon nanotube technology. Unlike traditional thermal pastes that dry out and degrade over time, this solid-state interface is designed to maintain its structure indefinitely and potentially improve heat transfer through repeated power cycles. The product features a network of carbon nanotubes around an aluminum core, encased in a non-conductive polymer coating to prevent electrical shorts. It is specifically designed for AMD Ryzen AM4 and AM5 processors and will be available through Noctua retail channels later this year.
