Noctua has partnered with Carbice to introduce the NT-CP1, a thermal pad made from vertically aligned carbon nanotubes. This technology aims to replace traditional thermal pastes by offering higher thermal conductivity and a longer service life without degradation. These carbon-based pads are designed for the DIY PC market, starting with a version for AMD Ryzen processors in September 2026. By improving heat dissipation and removing the need for periodic paste replacement, the technology enhances the efficiency and longevity of high-performance computing hardware.
