Noctua has partnered with Carbice to release the NT-CP1 thermal pads, utilizing carbon nanotube technology for AMD Ryzen CPUs. Unlike traditional thermal pastes that degrade over time, these pads are designed to improve their thermal conductivity as they conform to the hardware surfaces through repeated heating and cooling cycles. This advancement in thermal interface materials aims to eliminate the need for periodic repasting and maintenance. The pads will be available in September 2026, offering a more durable and efficient cooling solution for high performance computing.
