Niutech Completes Restructuring to Scale Tyre and Plastic Chemical Recycling
tyreandrubberrecycling.comNiutech Technology Group finished a restructuring in August 2026 to expand its chemical recycling business for waste tyres and plastics. The company builds continuous pyrolysis equipment and operates projects. Its new generation line can process more than 100 tonnes of waste tyres per day in a single unit, and the recovered carbon black is reported to reach toluene transmittance above 80%, making it a candidate feedstock for tyre manufacturing. Niutech is already running the technology commercially. Its Hesheng Environmental Protection facility in China, commissioned in 2013, has operated for over a decade and started a 100,000-tonne Phase II expansion in 2026. The company also announced a RMB 198 million order from a UK customer for waste plastic chemical recycling technology, a sign that the demand for pyrolysis-based recycling is moving beyond the Chinese market.
