Yeah, the supply chain is the hard part. LPG is cleaner than biomass but still a fossil fuel. The real win here is reducing indoor air pollution from firewood. That kills a lot of people in Nigeria every year.

Good question. The PIA incentives are supposed to help, but the article is light on how they will actually fund cylinder distribution or subsidize the fuel cost for low income households. Without that, 5 million is just a number.
