Speaking at a workshop in Abuja, NASENI stressed that awareness campaigns and better data collection are needed to help individuals and organizations access climate finance incentives. The workshop, organized with AtoB Technology Limited, highlighted that scattered data from solar installations, biomass projects, and agricultural initiatives makes it hard to measure impact or attract investment. NASENI wants to turn that fragmented information into reliable datasets that meet international standards. Without this, tracking Nigeria's emissions reduction and unlocking carbon market benefits will remain difficult.
