Nigeria has unveiled a comprehensive Net-Zero Investment Plan aimed at achieving carbon neutrality by 2060. The strategy integrates climate action into the national economic framework, focusing on decarbonizing power, transport, agriculture, and industry. To support these goals, Nigeria has secured early financial backing from German partners, including a 300 million euro credit guarantee and 71 million euros in contributions. The plan seeks to attract further global climate finance by converting policy goals into bankable infrastructure projects.
