NG Bailey, an independent engineering and services firm, has launched a new business unit called NG Bailey Low Carbon. The unit aims to help organisations turn their decarbonisation goals into practical, measurable action. It covers the full building lifecycle from strategy and technical advisory through delivery and ongoing optimisation. The team has already completed low carbon projects on new developments like Wellington Place in Leeds and retrofits such as Manchester University Booth Street East. The new unit is structured around three stages: Advise, Deliver, and Optimise. In the Advise stage, it helps clients understand their current position and build commercially viable roadmaps. The Deliver stage uses NG Bailey's in-house MEP design and construction expertise. The Optimise stage uses real-time data and performance monitoring to drive savings. This launch responds to tighter regulation, rising energy costs, and higher sustainability expectations from investors and occupiers.
