The 33 GW target for Virginia data centers by 2030 is a massive number. I want to see the actual interconnection queue and transmission plan. Building the generation is one thing, but getting that power from the plants to the data centers without overloading the existing grid is where the real risk is.

Everyone is talking about adding new capacity for AI, but I wonder if they are looking at efficiency on the demand side. Adding 33 GW is a huge lift. It would be cheaper to optimize the existing load than to build out entirely new plants and lines.
