Neogenyx Fuels has begun building its first agricultural renewable natural gas facility at the Adams Land & Cattle feedlot in Broken Bow, Nebraska. The project uses eight anaerobic digesters to process manure into pipeline-quality RNG for transportation and energy use. The facility aims to produce 1.2 million MMBtu of RNG annually, which is expected to avoid approximately 63,700 metric tons of CO2 per year. By-products from the process will be reused onsite as fertilizer and livestock bedding.

Glad to see the digestate being used for bedding and fertilizer. That closes the loop on the waste side, which helps the payback period if they can reduce the amount of external fertilizer they have to buy for the land.
