Neogenyx Fuels delivers first ISCC-certified renewable natural gas to Europe from US landfill facility
chemanalyst.comNeogenyx Fuels has completed its first delivery of ISCC-certified renewable natural gas (RNG) to European compliance markets. The gas was produced at a Republic Services landfill site in the US and tracked using the ISCC mass balance chain-of-custody system. The certification, effective January 2026, allows the company to access EU sustainability-regulated markets and sell verified low-carbon fuel internationally. The company says its ISCC-certified projects can produce over 4.2 million MMBtu of RNG annually. Neogenyx plans to certify more facilities to expand its role in compliance-driven markets. The delivery was facilitated by U.S. Energy, which acted as the ISCC-certified trader. This marks a step toward scaling US RNG exports as a commercial low-carbon fuel source for European buyers.
