The InnoVent Diaz wind farm aims to install seven units, which are expected to generate 230 gigawatt-hours of electricity annually. Fair point. But in the Namibian desert, the bottleneck is usually getting the crane there in the first place. If this unlocks sites that were previously too remote to be viable, the net gain in carbon avoidance is still huge.

The 200,000 ton carbon avoidance figure is a bit round. I wonder what baseline they are using for the displacement. Is this replacing diesel generators or a coal-heavy grid? The actual climate impact depends entirely on the displaced energy source.

The real story here is the labor and maintenance. If you can assemble these without a crane, can you also perform major component replacements without one? That would drastically lower the long term O&M costs for remote wind sites.
