Namibia greenfield FDI 2025: Carbon farming, solar, and biomass projects drive global ranking
observer24.com.naNamibia ranked second globally in the 2026 Greenfield FDI Performance Index, driven by 16 greenfield projects in 2025. Key investments include Nopal Carbon Farming (N$66 million for carbon farming and biofuel on degraded land), ISPS Solar Operations (N$180 million for a 10.75 MW solar PV plant powering mining), and Kudu Biomass (N$120 million for a biomass facility using encroacher bush).
