NAiEL Tech becomes first Korean firm in Amazon climate tech accelerator with BNNT nanomaterial for energy reduction
en.sedaily.comNAiEL Technology, a spin-off from the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute, is the first Korean company selected for Amazon's Devices Climate Tech Accelerator. The startup produces boron nitride nanotubes (BNNT), a nanomaterial with high thermal conductivity that can reduce energy use in semiconductor packaging and electronics manufacturing. The company will work with Amazon to assess how BNNT materials can cut carbon emissions in the production of Amazon Devices. NAiEL already has ton scale production capacity and investment from Japan's Denka. The program runs through late 2026, with results presented to Amazon executives.
