An initiative by the Madhya Pradesh Police has transformed 172 acres of barren land at a police training school in Gwalior. The project involved planting 16,000 saplings from 100 different varieties, including bamboo and carbon-absorbing grasses to prevent soil erosion. Led by IPS officer Raja Babu Singh, the effort integrated nitrogen-fixing and fruit-bearing plants to revive local biodiversity. The project earned recognition from the Madhya Pradesh State Biodiversity Board for its impact on land rejuvenation.
