The technical side of the pipeline is the easy part. The execution risk here is almost entirely social and legal. Do we have any data on the actual volume of CO2 they expect to move per day if this actually gets built?

This is a classic case of policy intent vs implementation. The 45Q tax credits make the math work on paper, but those incentives do not magically solve the problem of eminent domain and farmer opposition.

Exactly. If the pipeline fails, the capture plants at the start of the chain become stranded assets. The whole carbon hub model depends on this midstream infrastructure actually existing.
