Mevo, also known as Material Evolution, has added Phil Litchfield to its commercial team as Technical Sales Manager. Litchfield comes from Brett Landscaping and brings over 20 years in precast concrete. His job is to drive adoption of MevoXL, a super accelerator that lets producers replace up to 95% of ordinary Portland cement with low-carbon alternatives without changing existing processes or timelines. The hire signals that Mevo is moving from lab to market. MevoXL works with semi-dry precast applications and is code compliant, which removes a common barrier for manufacturers. With Litchfield on board, the company is betting that concrete producers will adopt the additive if it cuts carbon without raising cost or slowing production.
