MB Energy and Lechner Racing Extend Partnership for Renewable Diesel and Carbon Offsets

MB Energy and Lechner Racing have extended their partnership through 2028 to reduce the carbon footprint of the racing team's transport fleet. The strategy focuses on replacing fossil fuels with HVO 100 renewable diesel and using Voluntary Emissions Reduction certificates to offset remaining emissions. In 2025, the initiative achieved a reduction of approximately 70 tonnes of CO2e, more than double the previous year's results. The companies plan to expand their emissions accounting to include AdBlue consumption and broader transportation logistics.
