MAX Power Mining Corp. has signed a memorandum of understanding with the City of Moose Jaw to develop natural hydrogen resources in Saskatchewan. The project aims to supply low-carbon hydrogen to the Regina-Moose Jaw Industrial Corridor, serving sectors like steel manufacturing and petroleum refining. By extracting hydrogen directly from the ground at the Lawson system, MAX Power intends to provide a cheaper, lower-emission alternative to grey hydrogen and electrolysis. The company plans to begin drilling this summer to move toward commercial production.
