Majlis Amanah Rakyat (Mara) has introduced a Shariah-compliant carbon credit framework targeting over 200,000 hectares. The initiative is part of a broader strategic shift toward sustainable growth, with potential revenues estimated at RM450 million by 2030. Beyond carbon credits, the agency is integrating renewable energy partnerships and sustainable investment frameworks into its long-term economic development goals for the Bumiputera community.
