Mantel and Wood are collaborating to deploy high temperature carbon capture technology across Canadian industrial sites. The partnership focuses on integrating molten borate capture systems with fired equipment to decarbonize hard to abate sectors like oil and gas and manufacturing. Key projects include a steam assisted gravity drainage facility targeting 60,000 tonnes of CO2 capture per year and a demonstration project at a pulp and paper mill in Quebec. These systems aim for capture rates up to 98 percent while recovering process heat as clean steam.
