Macau to Launch Cotai EV Supercharging Station for Light and Heavy Vehicles

Macau is expanding its electric vehicle infrastructure with a new supercharging station in Cotai. The facility will feature seven high-speed units, including dedicated chargers for heavy-duty vehicles, aiming to provide 300 to 400 kilometers of range in under 10 minutes for light vehicles. This rollout comes as electric motorcycle and passenger car registrations surge. To support this transition, Macau is also targeting a 50% share of clean energy in its imported electricity, moving toward full carbon neutrality in power imports by 2050.
