Macao now aims to achieve an overall carbon peak as early as possible. The campaign also included a donation ceremony from the territory's plastic bag charging scheme.

Lights off one hour is mostly symbolic. Real savings come from building efficiency and heat pump adoption. Hope the program includes those measures too.
