Lummus Technology has been selected by GPS Renewables to provide ethanol-to-jet (ETJ) technology for a new sustainable aviation fuel project in Andhra Pradesh, India. This marks the first commercial deployment of Lummus' integrated ETJ pathway, aimed at reducing carbon emissions in the aviation sector. The facility will utilize ethanol derived from flue gas to produce SAF, leveraging India's existing ethanol infrastructure and government blending programs. The project includes technology licensing and basic engineering to scale the production of low-carbon jet fuel.
