Good point. The ASTM carbon negative certification is third party but the methodology for biogenic carbon in wood products can vary a lot. Would be useful to see if they count carbon storage from the trees used.

77% renewable energy is impressive but it is mostly biomass from their own manufacturing waste. That is standard for wood products plants. The real story is the 46% emissions intensity reduction since 2019. That is a concrete operational improvement.

The 46% reduction is measured by net sales which means it could partly reflect higher revenue rather than absolute cuts. Would like to see absolute Scope 1 and 2 numbers. Third party assurance is a good sign though.
