Ethiopian communities are reversing land degradation using nature-based solutions like exclosures and gully rehabilitation. These low-cost methods cost between 600 and 800 USD per hectare, avoiding expensive machinery and imported materials. The approach emphasizes community ownership and long-term stewardship to meet Ethiopia's national goals of restoring millions of hectares of land by 2030.
