Litespeed launches four titanium ebikes with Mahle X20 motor: Overdrive, Distortion, Sustain, Harmonizer
bikeradar.comLitespeed, the Tennessee titanium bike builder, has entered the ebike market with four models: the Overdrive and Distortion gravel bikes, plus the Sustain and Harmonizer road bikes. All use the Mahle X20 rear hub motor, a lightweight system with a claimed 3.2kg weight, 250Wh battery, and optional range extender. Litespeed claims complete bike weights from around 12kg, depending on spec. The gravel models offer 50mm and 54mm tire clearance, while both road bikes fit 35mm tires. Prices range from $9,995 to $12,495, with builds using Shimano GRX, SRAM Rival XPLR, Shimano Ultegra, or Shimano 105 Di2. Wheels are built with HED rims and the X20 motor. For riders who want pedal assist in a light, titanium frame, this is a notable launch. The small battery means range depends heavily on assist mode and terrain, so the range extender will matter for longer rides. All bikes are built to order in Chattanooga with a two to four week lead time.
