The company utilizes self-emissive technology to eliminate backlights, which reduces the total number of components and materials required for production. In addition to carbon metrics, LG earned Resource Efficiency certifications from Intertek and E-Cycle Excellent Product ratings in Korea. These awards recognize the use of post-consumer recycled plastics and designs that allow for easier disassembly and recycling at the end of the product's life.
