It can measure total carbon and moisture simultaneously and separate phases by release temperature, which helps labs understand material composition without extra procedures. With up to 50% faster ramp-up and 30% faster cool-down, the 812 Series supports higher sample throughput. Detection limits improve by tenfold for carbon and twentyfold for moisture. Programmable furnace operation allows oxygen or nitrogen atmospheres with fixed or ramped heating profiles, all controlled through LECO's Cornerstone software. Applications include total organic carbon in soils and waste, residual carbon on cleaned metals, and moisture in welding fluxes and metal powders for additive manufacturing.
