Getting more planners trained on LEAP is a good move. The gap between having a climate goal and actually modelling the pathways to get there is usually where these policies fail.

True, but the model is only as good as the data. I wonder if this training addresses the lack of granular grid data in some of these regions or if they are just using high level estimates.

Free training and provided accommodation is a big plus. It removes a lot of the barriers for people at smaller NGOs or local agencies to actually get these skills.
