LanzaTech is partnering with the Technical University of Denmark to establish a next-generation C1 biofoundry. This facility will use AI and synthetic biology to convert captured industrial carbon emissions into sustainable fuels, chemicals, and materials. The project, running through April 2028, aims to scale the production of low-carbon materials. LanzaTech has previously worked with global fashion brands to create textiles from captured carbon, highlighting the potential for industrial emissions to replace petroleum-based feedstocks.
