LanzaTech and DTU Partner to Build Carbon Recycling Biofoundry
greenqueen.com.hkLanzaTech is partnering with the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) to establish a C1 biofoundry. This facility will use AI and gas fermentation to convert industrial carbon emissions, including CO2 and methane, into sustainable aviation fuels, chemicals, and bio-based materials. The collaboration aims to accelerate the development of microbial strains that can fix carbon more efficiently. By automating the testing of thousands of microbial designs, the project seeks to reduce the technical risks associated with scaling carbon-to-value biotech in Europe.
