LanzaTech and BRIGHT are partnering to establish a next-generation C1 biofoundry at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). The facility will use AI, robotics, and automation to accelerate the development of microbial strains that convert carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and methane into sustainable fuels and chemicals. This multi-year collaboration, running through April 2028, aims to shorten the research cycle for gas-fermentation biotechnology. By providing high-throughput testing and shared research access, the project seeks to scale carbon-to-value solutions across Europe.
